Mistakes matter, yes.So you finally ADMIT military establishment continuously makes MISTAKES by bringing people into power for their own self-serving objectives & then removes them from power when they no longer serve the said "objectives"? Then tell me with complete honesty who is ACTUALLY at fault here? Is it really civilians like Imran or is it military establishment itself that simply won't stop with this old practice of first bringing people into power & then removing them for their own self-interests?![]()
But there are mistakes made with honest intentions and then there are mistakes made with selfish or dishonest (and worst of all, seditionary) intentions.
Even you and I make the former category of mistake routinely.
And no, as a point of clarification, I did NOT say the military (or anyone) "CONTINUOUSLY" makes or made mistakes. Quite the contrary. If we make mistakes in an honest attempt for betterment, we do what we can to rectify them. If we are malevolent by design, then we are in a different kind of trouble, and rightly so.
It is clear to me that the cult of Imran veered into self preservation and self idolation above all other considerations quite soon after his political reprieve. When these lofty ambitions then proceed to interfere with the sovereignty of the state of Pakistan, a solution must be imposed decisively.
