I'm not about to commit to this sport being in the rotation of regular sports viewing. If given a choice between this or the NBA, it is a no-brainer. Soccer gives me an option to turning the TV off. Yes, I hate basketball that much.

I will absolutely not watch the US WNT. The majority of them hate the country. They have the right to do so. As individuals. If they are representing the nation, then either resign from the team or STFU.

The American sports market is already over crowded and Americans have been conditioned to scores and having a winner and loser at the end. Soccer is low scoring and frequently ends in draws and is at a major disadvantage.

Fifa chose a good time to hold this tournament in the US when it would not clash with NFL, NBA, NHL or MLB.

Man, do I miss our old team with players like Christiano Ronaldo, Wayne Rooney, Michael Owens, Ryan Giggs, Paul Scholes, Rio Ferdinand, Patrice Evra, Garry Neville, Tevez, Van Nistelrooy, David Beckham, Louis Saha, Roy Keane and others. It's impossible to believe what has happened to Manchester United after those golden generations.
