Defensively Sweden is very weak. Attack on the other hand is strong. Potters big dilemma here is that he can't play Sweden defensively, even against the big teams. He did so today in the first 20 min and killed the match.

Yep. Sweden have some world class strikers in Isak and Gyokeres. Ronald Koeman did his homework and nullified them. As a legendary ex-defender himself, not surprised he had a plan.

Interesting group now. I can see Japan beating Tunisia easily. So goal difference will now keep Holland above Japan (if both on 4 pts) because they drew their head to head. These extra goals for Holland may be valuable yet.

Sweden still actually have a great chance to qualify.

Yeah that a decent 3rd place can result in qualification this time means that Sweden still stand a good chance of going further but I think it is clear that once they are up against world class opposition the Swedish defence will crumble.

Not convinced. I have seen such performances before. The Dutch have a habit of winning early on and throwing it away towards the end. The real test will be against the bigger teams with defensive qualities. With all due respect, but Sweden doesn't have a good defence.

Iran, while not even being as gifted as the Turkish team, played with a lot of heart against New Zealand. That is why I can give them a chance to get a favorable result against Egypt or maybe even Belgium (they haven’t hit full gear).

Turkey despite having many technical players, played with no heart, scored 0 goals in 2 matches, despite having a 1 man advantage over Paraguay over 50 minutes.
