Seems like a pathetic act of politicisation of sports to me!

Which is one of the reasons why my viewership of pro sports is on the decline.

It was planned ahead months ago, but it was after World Cup draws. So, no, it wasn't random. Iran and Egypt protested it but FIFA did nothing about it. This is obviously very provocative, knowing that both teams are Muslims that do not recognize homosexual relationships for religious reasons.

I wonder if Egypt and Iran can cancel the match. It'll be interesting. And what will happen to the score? 0-0 for both? If yes, that's good for Iran lol

I think both must withdraw , doesn't matter if we qualify or iran or any team.
principles are far more important than a game.
