Agreed. In normal time, it appeared that way. But they very quickly disregarded it because, yknow, Messi. Questions need to be asked and even I am saying this as someone who doesn't particularly like conspiracy theories.

The local station I was watching (SBS) did an enhanced version of that shot by drawing a line across the wall of the England defender; he was about 1.5 body lengths offside.

Meh, they reap what they sow. They should have known better that had been done before, twice, if you are not going to control midfield, you are basically just inviting Messi to make plays, and sooner or later, they are going to get you. I mean, Argentina had 14/6 (Shot/on target) vs England 6/3

Scoring first @55 was a death sentence. They went full prevent defense and you never go full prevent defense against the most talented team in FIFA.

Argentina has no pace but are great at close control and passing. Instead of defending high, Tuchel just made changes that maybe forced England to defend deep. This one is on Tuchel I can see England media put blame on. Where we all so England could not match Argentinan skills.

It is going to be one hell of a game. It won't be as easy as you're making it to be. ENGLISH are known to crumble under pressure and barely got over the line against Norway. In fact, execpt the Mexican match, England have been average at best throughout. Luck is definitely on their side, 50/50 game coming up - It could go either way really.

Just as I predicted. England bottled it right when they needed to step up. To be fair, they just about made it this far and they found out what really football is.


As much as I hate Argentinaians (Zio lovers), you have to give credit where its due. They came back from 1 down in a semi final and made England run around like headless chickens in 2nd half.

The Argentinians turned to their 5th gear after the England goal. England had no chance. One way traffic.

People underestimate how good this Argentinian team is. It is actually Argentina that was playing cautiously and conceded the goal which it shouldn't have. When we compare England versus Argentina on pure quality Argentina comes on top.
