I am not sure how much more dangerous wire-guided missiles are over "fire and forget".

There is obviously no inclination that you are being targeted as the missiles are so fast and relatively quiet. After the attack there is not going to be an immediate indication of the direction of attack.

The extremely low and flattened trajectory will mean that the missile will not be tracked as it is being headed to its target by any counter-battery radar.

Yes just having to hold in position for some 5-10 seconds introduces an element of risk but it is not much more than if a missile was fired and you immediately left the scene.
