On 14 May 2024, security forces conducted an intelligence based operation in general area Sambaza, #Zhob District of #Balochistan.
During the conduct of operation, own troops effectively engaged the terrorists location, as result of which three terrorists were sent to hell. Weapons, ammunition and explosives were also recovered from the killed terrorists.
However, during the intense exchange of fire, leading his troops from the front, Major Babar Khan (age: 33 years, resident of District Mianwali) having fought gallantly, paid the ultimate sacrifice and embraced Shahadat.

QUETTA: A Levies force official was martyred in Ziarat on Saturday, a day after militants in a separate attack on a Levies police station held personnel at gunpoint and took away their official weapons and motorbikes.
Gul Zaman, the Levies official, was heading back home when he was targeted by unidentified armed men riding motorbikes near Ziarat, police said.
Police removed the body to the district hospital. βHe received multiple gunshot wounds, which caused his instant death,β they said while quoting hospital officials after medico-legal formalities.
QUETTA: Security forces have failed to find the 10 people who had been kidnapped from a picnic spot in Harnai a few days ago.
In all, 14 picnickers were abducted by armed militants after separating them from a crowd after checking identity cards at Shaban picnic point in Zarghoon Ghar area of Harnai district.
According to Levies Force personnel, the armed men had taken positions on the nearby hills before the kidnapping. However, they freed four persons in the mountainous area and later abandoned their vehicle.
Among those kidnapped were Mohammad Hamza and Mohammad Haris, both hailing from Multan; four brothers namely Hassan Raza, Rehan Raza, Farhan Raza and Mohammad Raza, residents of Quetta; Jahanzeb, a resident of Sadiqabad; and a Customs official Abdul Baseer Durrani, belonging to Quetta. The identity of other two is yet to be ascertained, according to officials.
They said efforts were underway to free all the 10 people as security forces were conducting a search operation.
The banned outfit, BLA, had claimed responsibility for the kidnappings.
