The Malaysian delegation, accompanied by other senior officers, showed keen interest in exploring the latest advancements in defense technology showcased by SHIBLI. The delegation’s visit aimed to strengthen bilateral ties, foster collaboration, and gain insights into cutting-edge defense solutions that could enhance Malaysia’s military capabilities.

One of the highlights of the visit was the inspection of SHIBLI’s state-of-the-art products, including the SKUA-Mini and SKUA-MP. These innovative thermal imaging devices have garnered attention for their superior performance and reliability in various tactical scenarios.

Good to see the FAAZ series is still being worked on - they will be useful against Drones until they mature fully for taking down larger jets (imho) and being local, they should be cheaper to manufacture and deploy.

PL-5E, we probably license produce it, in the same way Faaz is likely an SD-10 derivative as an 'experiment'. Laser Prox fuse on Faaz, vs RF on SD-10. I think faaz is likely a lengthened SD-10 as more of a proof of concept exercise than an operational system
