rs 400 Ltr, price will increase next week ...nation is paying for the elite luxury..
No change price in Bangladesh 130 Tikka per liter, India 95 Rupees per liter and in Pakistan ...............That is a BS claim.
Fuel prices in Pakistan are tracking global prices given the disruptions, without subsidies.
That is all.
Conflating the rise in fuel prices with the other endemic problems of corruption is just a cheapskate politcal ploy for the PTI.
It will FAIL.
That is a BS claim.

Sure, that is a BS claim.
But there is a larger point that our fuel prices are this high due to the structural inefficiencies of other parts of the govt (mainly FBR in this case), causing the govt to fill the gap through levies and such. No one's wanting to talk about that.
Well nation is paying the price of elite corruption . Another 25 billion govt contractors corruption case going to be surfaced soon. Unlimited examples ...beside DHA....... they must honor their commitment to the IMF for not providing any subsidies. Or did you conveniently forget about that?
Yes, the structural deficiencies are there, chronically. My point was that the recent rise in fuel prices is arising from circumstances outside Pakistan's borders, and not due to the corruption within.
What is more is that this rise would have happened just the same for any government in power.
No one has a magic solution to Pakistan's problems and if anyone says so, either they are stupid, or being too smart and therefore lying to the people.
Well nation is paying the price of elite corruption .
This is tip of iceberg ............in every visit to Pakistan .... corruption is getting more and more deep rooted ....i have little hope left. Every year budget is fabricated dramaThat is true, but that has been going on ever since present day Pakistan's roots were nearly half a century ago.
Due to its massive energy needs, Pakistan remains very vulnerable to global price shocks. The present spike is due to the Iran war.

All link to national economy and corruption... foreign factors are nominal in reverse economic growth ....I can agree with all of what you have said above.
But this thread is about rising POL prices, not about the endemic corruption or the fudged budget numbers.
