Normally, I don't log onto PDF in Ramadan, but this year has been exceptional due to the dual wars in Pakistan's neighbourhood.

I'm only interested in the Afghanistan-Pakistan situation and the US/Zion war with Iran.

The shutting down of Qatars oil and gas is for for many Asian countries, like Pakistan, India to South Korea and Taiwan, a disastrous prospect.

Pakistan is heavily dependent on gas and products from Qatar.

Most of the Asian nations have little if any stockpiles of gas, so in the coming months they will run like mad chikens to secure enough methane to keep their power stations running and heating systems working.

This will drive up prices around the world, including in Europe, which is also dependent on LNG to fill the gap left by Russian gas following the shutdown of some of its pipeline supply following the invasion of Ukraine.

And it's not limited to gas. Qatar is also responsible for a third of the world's helium. Without helium, MRI scanners cannot function, quantum computers cannot work, since they depend on the gas to cool their magnets and circuits.

The Gulf provides around half of the world's sulphuric acid, without which you cannot make explosives or refine copper.

You will see a reduction in the global supply of urea for fertilizer which in turn will mean failing agriculture and a disruption to the fragile "just in time" logistics and supply chain of Western countries.

The shortage of Kerosine will reduce Jet fuel supply increasing travel disruption and driving up air fare.

MT Nave Atropos, carrying 50,000 tonnes of petrol, has docked at Port Qasim, Karachi, while two more tankers, MT Spross Two (55,000 tonnes) and MT Sea Clipper (34,000 tonnes), are expected soon.

Three ships carrying petrol have arrived in Pakistan while one has already discharged its diesel cargo to replenish the fuel stocks in the country amid global shortages, it emerged on Tuesday.

The berthing for three ships that are yet to discharge their cargoes is scheduled for the coming days this week.
