Govt 'seriously' considering imposing emergency in Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa: Tariq Fazal

inse kuch nahi hona...........AM and Naqvi are these days living outside the country......tending more to arab affairs than their own country

if shit escalates they will all flee the country rather than deal with the issues

america ke green cards mil jainge bulke le b liya honge ab tak.....insabki families already baher rehti hain aur settled hain

Yakhya and Bhutto.

Dont over-complicate it.
And Mujib, 3 men cant do jackall, they instigated the people on ethnic politics, and the people accepted it. The people could have turned around and said we are Pakistanis, we are one, despite everything bad happening but instead they went all rebellious and Yahya thought he was the chosen one.

I am afraid , someone is working on breaking the country ..... check the pattern.....Baluchistan is no go zone now and now KPK. I see the frustration is now boiling ....
Wait a massive energy crisis is building in winter.
Is it due to ego and incompetence or our leadership has been infiltrated by the dark forces. This is something to work out. For example all the policies and decision should be moving us all together as a nation but instead it is slowly divided people. In the last 20 years or so what have the governments and rulers done to unite the people, even a simple educational drive, all we witness is government incompetence/corruption and if someone makes a noise then the danda follows.

Than shouldn't baluchistan be the first ?

And if security situation is so bad that we have to declare emergency in a province, shouldnt the COAS, DG ISI, and DG FIA, Corp commander KP and DG MI be removed from their posts ?

Sarfraz Bugti is very supportive of operations.

The same is expected from KP govt.

All these different governments, including military Administration/governor rule were unable to tackle fundamentalism, extremism, terrorism. Military backed Fazlur Rehman also failed.

Military Administration & Governor's Rule
1999 – November 2002
Following General Pervez Musharraf's coup in October 1999, elected provincial assemblies were dissolved. The province was administered directly under military rule through appointed Governors (including Lt. Gen. Iftikhar Hussain Shah) until democratic elections returned.

MMA Alliance (Akram Khan Durrani)
November 2002 – October 2007
Akram Khan Durrani of Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam (F) was elected Chief Minister following the 2002 general elections. He led a government formed by the Muttahida Majlis-e-Amal (MMA), a coalition of six major religious political parties that won a sweeping majority following anti-US sentiment during the regional post-9/11 period.

Caretaker Administration
October 2007 – March 2008
Shamsul Mulk served as Caretaker Chief Minister following the dissolution of the assembly to oversee the transition to general elections.

ANP-PPP Coalition (Ameer Haider Khan Hoti)
March 2008 – March 2013
Ameer Haider Khan Hoti of the Awami National Party (ANP) served as Chief Minister in a coalition with the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP). During this term, the 18th Constitutional Amendment renamed the province from NWFP to Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) in 2010.

Caretaker Administration
March 2013 – May 2013
Justice (R) Tariq Pervez Khan served as Caretaker Chief Minister during the national election cycle.

PTI First Term (Pervez Khattak)
May 2013 – June 2018
Pervez Khattak was elected Chief Minister, marking the beginning of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf's (PTI) leadership in the province. PTI formed a coalition government following their victory in the 2013 general elections.

Caretaker Administration
June 2018 – August 2018
Justice (R) Dost Muhammad Khan served as Caretaker Chief Minister.

PTI Second Term (Mahmood Khan)
August 2018 – January 2023
Mahmood Khan (PTI) took office after the 2018 general elections, becoming the first Chief Minister from the Malakand division. His tenure oversaw the merger of the former Federally Administered Tribal Areas (FATA) into KP. The assembly was dissolved early in January 2023.

Caretaker Administrations
January 2023 – March 2024

PTI-backed Government (Ali Amin Gandapur)
March 2024 – October 2025
Following the February 2024 elections, Ali Amin Gandapur was elected Chief Minister leading a PTI-backed administration.

PTI-backed Government (Sohail Afridi)
October 2025 – Present
Sohail Afridi (PTI) was elected Chief Minister by the provincial assembly following Ali Amin Gandapur's resignation in October 2025.
The question is why?

What part of the mechanism of the state causes these failures to occur.

Would these have ALL BEEN SOLVED had there been a perfectly compliant military under a constitution as is alleged?

If we look from 47-58 - the decision to keep the British system in place basically doomed the area regardless of military control or otherwise.
Back in 56 you called them "backward classes" for special recognition but as soon as Ayub took over he affirmed that one unit crap to marginalize Bengalis and the rest is history.

Even when you had parties that ruled all of the provinces - plain ethnic rivalries in party representatives prevented many reforms from passing. If anything, until 2001 - the military practically stayed away from the area other than whatever was done in various remote villages for proxy warfare or the earlier operations with the Ipi incidents.

So clearly - the military operations arent some "glaring fire" that somehow created this entire mess - they inflamed an explosive mix(pun intended) but the raw material and neglect of it was already there.

And Mujib, 3 men cant do jackall, they instigated the people on ethnic politics, and the people accepted it. The people could have turned around and said we are Pakistanis, we are one, despite everything bad happening but instead they went all rebellious and Yahya thought he was the chosen one.

3 people? One who won using bengali card. But still WON. One used sindhi card and udhr tm idhr ham, and one use brute force of whole military. It was never just 3 men.
___________

Mujib won by using ethnic card. You know who else does this ? PPP, its single agenda in every election is marso marso sindh na deso... it wins using sindhi ethnic card. So why do we let it keep the seats it wins using the same ethnic card as mujib did ?

If not allowing Mujib to use bengali ethnicity card was bad and required dismissing his right of making the government, then why are we allowing PPP to make government for last 20+ years ?

So just to make it clear, Mujib was not at fault here. BHUTTO (backed by sindhis and idiot elite of west Pakistan) and Yahya (backed by military) forced his hands, we put him between wall and rock. It was never 2 persons. It was 2 strong and influential groups of Pakistan forcing him to rebel.
