Greek media lays out first 24 hours of hypothetical clash with Türkiye

Hellenism or Greek migrations?

Hellenism is the name of a period in Greek history that was basically about Greek culture mixing with those of The Middle East and Central Asia and it starts with Alexander the Great according to scholarly opinions.
You're talking about "Hellenistic".

You're talking about "Hellenistic".
I think you're mostly correct except for the wording, there was already a well established multitude of Greek colonies in Anatolia by the time of the Greco-Persian Wars and the colonization as a whole had started earlier.

Are you saying, the TURKISH ARMED FORCES,the regional superpower according to your compatriot MMM-E,the great Turkish Armed Forces do not have contigency plans,do not have pre-emptive strike plans?

Are you that much of a hypocrite or are you really that naive?

Show proof.

There is no such plan in any news article shared.

Turkey want to keep the status quo, Mitsotakis with encouragement from new daddies wants to try his luck, so he made foolish plans.

He is right with the wording. That was the Hellenistic period.

That's what I was saying,yes.

Man are you trolling?

You're here saying "Turkey doesn't have a pre-emptive strike plan". Are you going to tell me Turkey doesn't have plans at all? Maybe you don't even have an army?

And about your obsession with the "status quo". You're parroting the official AKP narrative like a loyal party member that you probably are, there in the United States or Turkey or wherever.

Your convenient bull about a status quo is a façade. Because when your country is pushing relations and making demands, inventing and adding problems on the table the last 10 years, you force us to react. And when we react to defend our own rights, you say "Keep the status quo and nothing happens".

Then you have the audacity to repeat "encouragement from new daddies". You're either brainwashed or willingly following and spreading AKP's propaganda.

Your country is like a bully, who comes and says "Give me your lunch money, give me your bike,I like your shirt, let me have it or there will be trouble",and when the bullied guy reacts you lash out "oh look, your friends are pushing you to fight me,don't be stupid you can't fight me".

You're one of the biggest hypocrites I've ever encountered in my life irl or online.

Turkish offer : 50% to Turkiye and 50% to Greece but this is neo-Ottoman plan

Greek offer : If the claims in the lunatic Seville Map were to materialize, Turkiye would be left with almost no maritime area in the Aegean

then this is Donkey's dreams

Hittites and Luwians etc weren't Greek.

Yes You are right

In terms of historical and archaeological facts, the Greeks are not the oldest indigenous people of Anatolia. Long before the spread of Hellenic culture and language into the region, the geography of Anatolia was home to numerous ancient indigenous civilizations possessing their own distinct languages and cultures like Hattians, Luwians, Hittites, Phrygians, Lydians

The appearance of Greek elements on the map of Anatolia dates back to the Aegean Migrations of the 13th century BC and the subsequent period of colonization.

------------------------------------------------------------------------

During excavations for Istanbul - Beşiktaş Metro, approximately 78 Altai Turkic-type kurgan tombs dating back to 3500 BC and two statues were found.

The statues bear the AK-ANA/UMAY symbol and tamga, which is described as "hands on hips" in Turkish kilim (rug) motifs

Turks have been Istanbul and Anatolia for at least 5500 years!!!

Russian biochemist and geneticist Prof. Anatoly Klyosov suggests Proto-Turkic was dominant in parts of Europe 7,000 years ago and in Anatolia 3,000–4,000 years ago

The truth is coming to light one by one

The Israelis know Turkey is rising technologically especially in the military sphere. That is why they were hoping after Turkey and Pakistan got roped into the Mecca agreement to get them involved in fighting Houthis in Yemen so both Pakistan and Turkey would get weak. Then they would arm the Indians and Greeks to finish if a weakened Turkey and Pakistan. These diabolical Zionists are the main source and if Turkey wants to prevent a war with Greece, then they should aim for Israel.

They will start it, Turkey will choose when it ends.

Exactly

The plan of these scoundrels is to attack the Turkish defense industry, and then they hope the US and the EU will step in to end the conflict

This is the task Israel has assigned to these Greeks who are rabidly hostile towards Turks

But they don't realize that in such a situation, Turkiye wouldn't listen to anyone.

If the Greeks attempt this, they are starting a war.
Turkiye will take those islands back, just like in 1974

Yes. These are all our lands for thousands of years. Even whole of Greece.
Asia = Luwian-Hittite name. Means nothing in Greek.
Anatolia = Copied by Greeks. Just two different meanings in both languages.
Wolf-themed Mythology spread to Italy too with the Trojans.

Another fun fact is a lot of Greek mythology is just a copy paste from Anatolian civilizations too.

The whole of Greece must return to its rightful owners!

Your problem is you consider Hellenism in Anatolia begun with Alexander. Hellenism in Anatolia had been flourishing centuries before Alexander passed from there.

Weren't Greek. And their empire dissolved in the late Bronze Era. The Luwians and others were scattered or assimilated.

Rome conquered the Hellenic world, but it was eventually more of a co-existence. In time the Greco-Roman culture with Christianity(what we now call Eastern Orthodoxy) amalgamated into what we call Byzantine Empire. The Greeks called themselves Romans to the end, because they considered themselves Roman citizens and legal inheritors of the Roman Empire's legacy. Even though most of them knew they were Greeks, they used the term Roman as for centuries the term "Hellenic" was a slang for idolater, dodekatheist, pagan. Even medieval western sources(french, german,Italian and other)call Byzantines as "Greeks". Arabs called them Yunan apart from Rum.

And what you also forget is that there had been a constant Greek presence in Asia Minor for literally thousands of years,up until 1923.
Nice. thanks for proving my point.
Those maps don't show half of Turkiye as Greek. I'd say what , 15%?

The Byzantine rulers all saw themselves as Roman. Not Greek.

Because errrm that was what they were.

Emperor Romanos I Lekapenos (10th century)
“We Romans have inherited the empire from our fathers.”

Meaning: Political identity = Roman. Source: Theophanes Continuatus, ed. Bekker, Bonn Corpus (1838).

The Byzantine rulers all saw themselves as Roman. Not Greek.

There was never a state in history that called itself "Byzantium"; this name was applied by the German historian Hieronymus Wolf a century after the empire's fall ( 1577 )

The state's official and actual name was always the Eastern Roman Empire

The Eastern Roman Empire is not a "Greek state" in ethnic, political and legal terms, and its origins lie directly in Latin Roman civilization.
