France will not have stealth platform until FCAS enter service in 2050

Block 70 is a defined standard by Lockheed martin that contains within a specific set of manufactured components, systems for that upgrade designation.

Turkey has developed its own upgrade using local system called OZGUR. It is absurd to say that Turkeys upgrade is Block 70. It can never be block 70, because that designation belongs to Lockheed Martin who has defined which radar, mission computers, cockpit components, airframe upgrades constitute

You can call the Turkish upgrade what ever you want as long as you dont call it F16 Block 70. That specific designation belongs to the manufacturer of the platform.

F-16 is same platform for Block30/40/50/60/70

The difference between the blocks is the advanced technologies including AESA Radar

and only Block70 has AESA Radar
first one is American VIPER and other is Turkish OZGUR


OZGUR upgrade modernizes the block 40/50 standard F-16s with new technologies and increases it to block 70 level

That’s exactly my point. The first prototype of Turkish engine is expected to run in 2028-29, something India achieved back in 1995.
