I was once at a place where there was a bomb blast (just 15 minutes later). I heard that, and it killed 30+ people.
In another incident, my brother was in his car and behind a building. The suicide bomber detonated himself on the other side of it, killing some 10 policemen. Some crazy 2010s time.

Of course they will

Any terrorist act is horrendous, because innocent people are normally targeted

But this is OBVIOUS


When they interview these guys, the guys won't say some religious mumbo jumbo

They will say we watched for two years as children were murdered and we wanted revenge and massive amounts of people will understand the anger


The world is divided but only because we allowed it to be and because we placed different values on different kids


So Jews blowing up kids in Gaza is fine but Jew kids dying on a beach is tragic

Outrage from anyone will just create more anger on why Israel was allowed to kill kids in Gaza by the same people

It was an annual thing; everyone who lives locally (by locally, I mean in Sydney, including me) knows this event ahead of time, it was on the council event page. Plus, Bondi had a very high proportion of Jewish population in Australia.

But again, I will wait until the press conference (which has been pushed back 10 minutes to 2140 AEST), just don't want to speculate on the origin and motive of the attack.

Thanks, well, I wasn't at the beach (Which is about 10-minute walk from where I was), and I left Bondi about an hour and a half before this happened.

But yeah, well, I had my share of dangerous times, I mean, being a soldier and all, but still this gives me some heebie jeebies, kind of thinking what if I was there......
