Thanks, well, I wasn't at the beach (Which is about 10 10-minute walk from where I was), and I left Bondi about an hour and a half before this happened.

It's very easy to get a Hunting Shotgun; you only need to be in a shooting club to own a gun, but I very much doubt they got them legally, because the choice is odd. If I go the legit route and get guns, I wouldn't get a clay shooter; there are many more weapons I can choose if I had an A or H license, which is better than a hunting shotgun.
