More and more people are saying that AI will eat everything.Both. :-(
Glad in a way I retired.
It sounds like fear-mongering and scarcity-threat amplifying to me.

Lol BTW you lot LITERALLY marry women to dogs, trees and stones etc to prevent bad luck, talk about being stuck in the stone-age! Doubt even the stone age dwellers were as backwards as the Indian society today!Even if all your claims were true, it still doesn’t mean Sharia fits the modern world. Keep it in your Islamic lands and stop preaching to the rest of the world how to live. Your religion, your people, and your systems are stuck in the medieval ages
H1B for 8 years at a senior role is extremely rare. Most of them shift to other visa and apply for green card wait when they passed 5 years there. If his aim was to stay in the US he would switch to the first H1B one can find.No sir, a senior engineer in Silicon Valley or Seattle at Google or Amazon or Meta or Netflix, meaning a BIG company would indeed be making that much. It's also possible post layoff he could not find a job because most companies dont pay that much and he was unwilling to compromise, maybe due to lifestyle. I find it a believable story.
It is extremely high for an H1B. When the average is $170k thereabouts.400k is not such a high salary in Silicon Valley/Wall Street at firms where compensation is tightly tied to impact of the employee's contribution instead of being correlated with tenure.
Many people also get 60k, so obviously the few higher outliers need to be much higher than the average of 170k. The median would probably be lower. And this is total compensation, a substantial portion of which would be performance based. Base salaries would be significantly lower. It is extremely high for an H1B. I don't know so much about that other than a number of lower skilled, manual labor jobs will go away. The automation techs will be expanding their skill sets to perform routine maintenance and any repairs that can be done outside of manufacturer-required technicians.More and more people are saying that AI will eat everything.

According to the LCA application only 0.1% of H1B make 400k or above. That's a huge outlier. 60k is the minimum wage for H1B. Most of the starting salaries begin around 70-80k.Many people also get 60k, so obviously the few higher outliers need to be much higher than the average of 170k. The median would probably be lower. LCA application will only list the base salary. For high paying jobs, base salary is only a small component of total compensation. Most of it comes from bonuses and stock and stock options grantsAccording to the LCA application only 0.1% of H1B make 400k or above. That's a huge outlier. 60k is the minimum wage for H1B. Its quite obvious. 400k total compensation is not as much a outlier as you think. Someone with 150k base salary listed in his LCA application could easily be making over 400k in total compensation.Your point being?
Like I said the data don't support this "outlier" argument at all. Something that's extremely rare is not an outlier. Also remember someone who makes over 400k, can easily get an EB5 Visa it only requires some 800k in targeted area investment. Which is why I said the story sounds unrealistic. Or maybe he's just stupid and I'm speculating. Anyway....Its quite obvious. 400k total compensation is not as much a outlier as you think. You are interpreting the date incorrectly. The salary given on LCA is only the base salary. The total compensation can often be several multiples of that. I also have personal knowledge of many H1Bs who make far in excess of 400k a year.Like I said the data don't support this "outlier" argument at all. Something that's extremely rare is not an outlier. Again he sounds stupid. Spend 800k with a return that may or maynot come over losing 400k security. Maybe he is just stupidYou are interpreting the date incorrectly. Not everyone is willing to spend 800K in some rural area in flyover country and take on a lot of headache just to get a green card. Being an employer is not everyone's cup of tea. Some people just want to get paid a salary, no matter how much money they have.
Sorry, but it is your argument that sounds stupid . He lost his job and couldn't find another one despite his best efforts. There is no guarantee that he would ever have found any comparable job in the United States. Why would be invest 800K in the middle of nowhere if he has no desire to run a busines and stay unemployed in the US when he found a decent job in India ? Not everyone needs to have the same goals in life as you do.Again he sounds stupid. Spend 800k with a return that may or maynot come over losing 400k security. Maybe he is just stupid
How are you defining this? Are you including non cash itemsThe total compensation
A Muslim doesn't change Shariah to fit it in the "modern" world, he defines the world in accordance to shariah. Shariah is the order of Allah, it is divine. Everything a Muslim does, should be in accordance to it.Even if all your claims were true, it still doesn’t mean Sharia fits the modern world. Keep it in your Islamic lands and stop preaching to the rest of the world how to live. Your religion, your people, and your systems are stuck in the medieval ages
