JF-17 Block 1, according to Wikipedia (not a great source) is 1.5 tons heavier than Tejas Mark 1 but has a more powerful Russian MiG-29 engine variant called RD-93.

In 2010, a fully refuelled JF-17 Block 1 with 3 fuel tanks took off from Farnborough, UK within 22 seconds of a run on the runway.



At Paris Air Show 2015 the Block 1 was up in 18 seconds (without fuel tanks).
