HAL LCA Tejas: Updates, News & Discussions

No u need to STFU with ur baseless claims. Morons like u and ur shit media can talk when u have something to show for it…like an actual order from Brazil or any nation.
…show me proof of sale…have u got any? Or r u only good at having verbal diarrhea?
Learn to comprehend English…it is neither me nor @Deino making claims…it is ur media and u making claims. The burden of proof is on u…
…we r only putting ur shit claims in place…as in non credible.

They never have proof. Seemingly we have to take their word on stuff like Balakot Strikes, F-16 shootdowns, surgical troops strikes, sales of Tejas. It is all real apparently, they just do not need to ever provide proof. Just the words of anonymous online trolls....

Did anyone claim sales has happened? We are discussing the statement of Brazillian Airforce chief regarding LCA and other Indian offerings evaluation.
You lack basic comprehension skills. Sit down in corner and don't jump into third party conversation.
There u go…finally the reality has hit…u r finally comprehending that u and ur media are speculating…
…but if @Deino speculates how unlikely the sale is…he must put his twitter account at stake 🤣
When morons defeat themselves using their own logic.

Tejas Mk1, regn. # LA5018 of No.18 Squadron.

I’m not sure how much life is left in the second-hand F-16s that many countries have purchased, as the Tejas MK1A being offered wasn’t operational then. In 10-15 years, when those F-16s retire, these countries will need a new 4th-generation fighter jet, and Tejas could be an option again. For example, Vietnam chose to buy second-hand F-16s from the U.S. instead of the Tejas MK1A.

Countries buying Second-Hand F-16 over New Tejas, That's mean even Second-Hand F-16 are better than New Tejas. Simple Logic dear. ;)

It is clear to any sane outside observer, with all the delays and issues on engines, amplifiers etc and the lack of front line IAF Sqds with Tejas, and the fact MK2 is not in service, no foreign buyer will consider it.

When a foreign delegration visit HAL or politely praise it after seeing a model, Indian media and this forum go into overdrive.

Not a single country has evaluated it seriously and with delays and other options out there, the export chances of this plane only live on the deluded minds of some indian posters on here

I'm not sure how any of the questions are related to what I wrote. At least try to comprehend what is written before commenting.

JF-17 at least can target existing J-7 users.

Tejas has zero market outside of Indian Air Force, partly due to it having the GE engine but mainly because anything made in India takes way too long to get ready.

What you write is easy to understand, Tejas attracts attention for good and bad reasons. Is it a "useless fighter"? No. Is it the world beating superjet many Indian fanboys on here claim? No. Hence the "shit flies" as you so gracefully put it.

I would suggest if it hurst your sensitivities so much maybe go somewhere else?

Tejas is susceptible to American sanctions, but not as much as the F-16 or Gripen. Moreover, the American engine in Tejas will eventually be replaced by the Indian Kaveri or another engine developed by India in the next 10 years.
