HAL LCA Tejas: Updates, News & Discussions

No planes, only information. And deals to import things while our leadership spouts slogans about atmanirbharata
If only more indians thought like this. Pakistanis would have to put in more than the 30% effort they currently put in.
India is In A Much Better position than in 2014

Had THAT regime continued ,.India would have been like Our Neighbors

We should Thank.GOD for sending Modi JI

Rest easy. Indian neighbors all send thanks to God for sending modi-zi.

As a result, a supposedly non-political organisation that had contributed nothing to the independence movement and was ignored by the post-indepdence governments for some decades mounted a deep-rooted campaign to reverse these three:
  • The refusal to consider India a Hindu-religion dominated state;
  • The one-sided reforms of Hindu society that left out Muslim society, and allowed Muslims to continue with their personal law;
  • The political domination of the English-educated elite over the large segment of wannabe leaders with other backgrounds who felt left out;

Curious about the specific reforms they're looking to apply for the Muslims. Also what do they think of the Sikh minority in this regard?

He makes complete sense, now watch how vested interests will attack him.

Even the IAF CAS can point out the insanity of not even having 40 aircraft in service 24 years after first flight, people on here will now go on to tell us he is wrong and everything is hunky dory

In the Next 2 years , everything will be OK

Yes for sure ... Tejas Mk2 will rule the sky, AMCA will surprisingly be unveiled much earlier, will use an indigenous +110kN engine and could almost instantly be built in masses so that the number of required squadrons is at the desired level ... and all this within two years! 🤡

Upps ... just in a dream.

Many Things and projects and problems will get Streamlined and move towards Solutions
And improvements and Betterment in next 2 years

And thereafter there will be lot of OPTIMISM in the Air

The current feelings of being Stuck is just a temporary phenomenon

We have a Bright future

It is just a matter of Time

We have Time on our side

The design, manufacturing is a serious issue in the Tejas programme for sure, but so has the IAF itself been an issue with ever changing requirements to the programme that kept moving timelines out and lack of commitment to Tejas until Modi forced them to commit to it. The IAF also needs to take a look at itself on how it could have done things better. Something else that the IAF can learn from the PAF.

You're NOT registered on IDRW.org, huh.

If you were, the boys over there would take a bat to your head. Atleast the ones that actually know what they are talking about.

Lately there have been sooooooo many Articles/Comments regarding Tejas (all variants), the issues with the GE Engines delivery & your local engine.

But when all is set & done, all we here from Indian Channels is that most of Pakistan's JF-17's are Grounded. No evidence/proof - bus kahani bana-bana kay baicho Hindustan ke awam ko.

Waisay speaking of IDRW.org, i'd comment about an idiot (Sanket), but fazool may upset ho jaey ga - especially since he frequents this Forum.

I can link 5-6 videos by your MOST renowned Defence Analyst and there views in the past 30 Days seem to potray a different...phenomenon.

Par challo..., atleast you have hope. Lagay raho.
We have a Bright future
I believe that's the slogan of the LGBTQ+ 🏳️‍🌈
We have Time on our side
That's the one thing you seem to have exhausted...

LCA Projects launched in 1980-1983

First Flight in 2003

First Operational Squadron in 2019

First Crash in 2024

Now where do you guys stand?

Apparently, HAL is producing the Jets without Engines & parking them away.

Amreeka nay teeqa lugga deya, na.

You guys are talking about Sales to Foreign Countries when you yourselves are desperate for the Engines. Good Luck selling them to Brazil or whatever.

Said it about 6 months ago on here, 2025 will see Tejas shelved, not publicly as it would stain Modi too much, but MK1A and MK2 will be shelved, a few Sqds of MK1 will remain just for national pride, similar to how the Indian Army has bene quietly keeping two old Arjun tank regiments going, so at least no one can claim it failed.

IAF CAS Press conference is 1st step to this.
