Hangor Class Submarine | Updates & Discussion

Now what kind of question is this? Why do I have to command a boat? In that case you are from a country whose commanders themselves are yet to even touch the nuclear boat....

Atleast my naval forces have decades of experience of handling such things but your forces are next to zero in this but still we have to listen what Pakistanis have to say or hid their advice.... be it nuclear submarines, aircraft carrier or even economy you compare nowhere but still you are experts on everything.....

Since our forces have handled such things and they know what it takes to build a nuclear submarine.... so YOU SIT DOWN AND SHUT UP....
do YOU know? thats the question. The answer is no, so once again, the local donkey tied up at a post has equivalent knowledge to you when it comes to nuclear subs lol

AI maybe right and when I say such an advance submarine then what's wrong with it?

AI obviously take those submarines whose information and data being discussed on internet since decades.... comparatively India has recently entered into this club and hence AI might not have taken that data.... but it doesn't mean that Arihant is some substandard submarine....

India has an experience of operating Russian SSNs twice and Russia has assisted us on this program with even miniature nuclear reactors..... so you trying to potray as if India is something a complete newbie to nuclear submarines is really meaningless.....

India has operated nuclear submarines, built own nuclear submarines and have decades of valuable experience in this field with Russians so we know exactly what are the requirements and what makes an advance nuclear submarine....

Surprising is everytime Pakistanis come to lecture be on aircraft carrier or nuclear submarines where they have ZERO experience or access....

That's just one frustrated rant lol. Forget about me, even someone from Bhutan can lecture you. If you try to shift discussion for your own narrative then ofcourse I will school you. You tried to move away from incident of hatch being left open, to india building "advance" nuclear submarines lol. That was not even being discussed. That incident showed the utter lack of training and lack of maintenance, or just lack of professionalism of Indian Navy.

Once again, Anyone can talk on this subject (lecture you). Who else keep their hatch open (INS Arihant was flooded and damaged) or sink a submarine while its docked / not even deployed (INS Sindhurakshak sunk while docked with 18 crew members).

Hahaha. Look at that idiot and the kind of complex he is infected with. He twisted the discussion of hatch being left open to india this and india that, india economy and having a joke of an A/C and "advance" sub LMAO!

You mentioned, your forces have experience of nuclear subs and A/C, who's denying that kiddo lol ?

But also add to that experience list. That forces of your country also left hatch of their submarine open and sinks another submarine while it was docked in the port.

Then you have nothing to worry about and dont need to be part of this thread.

stick to the topic please, this is not Arihant shariant thread but this thread is for PN newly inducted Hangor SSK, you're reported for off-topic discussions

Just thinking out loud, could the know-how from Hangoor [ops + manufacturing] lead to a larger, nuclear-powered version of Hangoor, replacing the AIP system and adding extra space for a nuclear-powered platform, much like Brazil [Álvaro Alberto] did with Scorpion subs?

Actually replacing AIP might not be the way to go at all, a miniature nuclear reactor is something we won't get off the shelf, it's something we will have to develop by ourselves, while we have decent base to start of from it will still cost us upwards of tens of billions of dollars, money we realistically won't have.

Here's where AIP is the better option, modern Li on fuel cell AIP can allow submarines to be submerged for 70+ days, this isn't too Dismilar to many nuclear subs since they are limited by the food supplies on board, so if we get 6 subs and each one has a 2-3 month deployment cycle and a 4 month overhaul period then it means 2 can remain out at sea at all times, you are also avoiding the massive maintenance requirements and cost that come with nuclear submarines

And even better Italians are willing to sell us fuel cell AIP for our submarine programs.

No, an SSN is an entirely different animal to an SS.
