Two have been launched so far with a hope third and fourth would be followed by in short period of time with max interval of 6 month each.
Yes. After delivery of Chinese diesel engines. PNS Ghazi & PNS Mangroo may follow suit. This project suffered two mishaps. 1-Corona 2-Refusal of Germany to provide engines.

Well Well Well finally the time has arrived for these lovely Submarines to join Pakistan Navy

Second real upgrade after the arrival of Heavier Frigates from China

After the Agosta Submarine , in 2000's these new Submarines after 25 years wait

Sure took a very long time for new Submarines

A little too silent in this thread, don't you think?

Did Hangor-class subs play any role in this round of Indo-Pak confrontation? Are they even operational?

Most likely by now they would be in East Ocean of Indian side most likely in China, But that just means they can always pop up under the sea to say hello on East Coast

But we do have our old existing Submarine inventory

4 out of 8 were planned for current year which was reasonable
Submarines take their normal course of development and launch

So a total of 7, 2 Hangor, 3 Agoata and 2 Agosta70 ?

Only 2 A90Bs are operational while 3rd is in MLU phase at KSEWs.

A70s are slotted as a training ships.

Not 4 for this year, only Hangoor is going to be inducted this year.
