The latest example is the 14th August government advertisement published in all major newspapers. It prominently features the Sharif family, the current military leadership, and other public figures — but completely omits Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah, the very founder of the nation.

When a state-sponsored Independence Day message removes the image of the man who created Pakistan, questions naturally arise: Is this just carelessness, or part of a wider agenda to rewrite history?

Bit late to this thread but, There is NO freedom.

August 14, 1947 is when gora sahib left and replaced by kala saab. It was a change of guard.

The change of ownership went from the Crown to Washington DC.

A Viceroy need not cometh to this boundary named Pakistan. They sit in DC and order bandmasters.

This is the reality.

*A personal note: on August 14, 1947 my maternal grandfather, the headmaster of Karimganj High School, left his job and house to make a Hijret to Pakistan. When he was the headmaster of Sylhet High School, a group of unruly students tried to bring down the Pak flag hoisted inside his school during 1952 language movement. He called police and handed them over.
