Is this just an oversight, or a deliberate attempt to manipulate Pakistan’s historical narrative? Since General Asim Munir took charge as Army Chief, and brought his likes of politicians many observers feel that Pakistan’s history is being quietly altered, reshaped, or selectively presented.

The latest example is the 14th August government advertisement published in all major newspapers. It prominently features the Sharif family, the current military leadership, and other public figures — but completely omits Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah, the very founder of the nation.

When a state-sponsored Independence Day message removes the image of the man who created Pakistan, questions naturally arise: Is this just carelessness, or part of a wider agenda to rewrite history?

This is definitely not the Pakistan promised by Quaid as it is hijacked by powerful people. But it is still a blessing a God and we will come out stronger after having learn to crawl the path of prosperity

Who needs Quaid when we have a Nabi Field Marshall? Quaid should have been hanged after his vitriolic speech at the Army Staff College, Quetta, on June 14, 1948.
