Heavy Industries Taxila

Was watching this video from Defence Dynamics India channel on Youtube where they are comparing Pakistani Al-Khalid vs Indian T-90 Bhisma. Obviously they conclude that T90 is superior based on:

1) Composite Layered Ceramic ERA Protection vs Modular Composite Armor + ERA in AK
2) Active Electronic Countermeasures vs Passive Protection in AK
3) Electro-Optical Jammer/Infrared Dazzler vs Thermal Smoke Generator and IR-Reflective Coatings on AK

Although they themselves are admitting that this is not a huge gap in terms of capability but their "critics" call Al-Khalid as outdated. My pov is that they haven't compared it with AK-1 and the new VT-4/Haider and competed their mainstay MBT T-90 to earlier version of Al-Khalid.

These types also compare Block 1 Jeff with Rafale to makes their viewers feel good and generate more views. Not worth the time watching let alone discussing it

I think last I saw was a tender in 2024 for 2 x set of Muzzle Velocity radar and 2 set of another similar component both intended for indigenous 155mm Gun.
You also posted some of them going south. A year or two back...
