Size of what? Buildings? That has no influence on the actual capabilities.

Biggest research center in what? Research capabilities and research breakthroughs or just size of buildings?

By research capabilities, its nothing compared to even that small Pioneer building.

If you are only concerned about building sizes, then well, the entire thread is meaningless for the reasons I stated above.

It could be another thread comparing airports or libraries. Which is fine.

Point is simple: Building size does not matter much in research centres. People do.

BTW, I DO recognize and even support building size and innovations in China at right places. Like your library thread.

I am triggered by the comparison of building sizes in research centre. As someone who works in research I know that it does not matter how big your buildings are. The real estate porn looks cringe when you celebrate it in context of research.

A lot of cutting edge research places are very non-descript.

Had it been say an industry or manufacturing unit, I would have been wow'ed. But this is not that.

Because you sound very triggered, I posted the world biggest library couples of days ago, but it doesn't mean it's the best library, Beijing's Natinal library of China is the best library in quality, but just not as big. but you are talking about thing totally unrelated to this thread, and your taste only represents your taste, not everyone else, the Chinese style architecture fits we Chinese taste very well.

Are you saying China can't import US rocket engine tech?

I would expect that to be true. Sort of goes against missile tech non-proliferation treaties.
