Imran Khan bankrupted Pakistan in 2021-22 with $20bn CAD, before that Nawaz in 2017-18 with his stupid policies. Keep FX reserves around $40-50bn and CAD under control and you will not need IMF ever again.
Till now you have been fed with army led dollars inflows which stopped in 2015 and economic crisis started. Even now its army running around trying to secure dollars, be it making defence pacts with Saudis or trying to be in good books of Americans for $10bn facility.

FIX the corruption pithole, the root cause of it all. Charity should begin at home. If the all powerful can't do it, then surely and slowly the external aid help will dry up soon (when nobody is willing to give anything). Why are they NOT fixing the big white elephant? We hve thugs/mafias ruling the country and busy living lavish lives while the poor suffer. WHY NOT FIX THE OBVIOUS FIRST ??
i would not wanna rely on remittances too much now, any big war again in ME, KSA and other places will see those remittances come to a screaching halt. War can restart anytime now. Hyperinflation everywhere will see LESS money being sent to Pakistan anyway and countries will start making it costly to send money to discourage it. This simply cannot be relied upon to save from bankruptcy.
I dont give a damn about any politics/parties or any sides. What we need is to end corruption and fix the bad mismanagement and wastage of taxpayer money. When we see it blown off by use of lavish protocols, lavish jet trips to UK, USA, etc, its very obvious (bureaucracy, judiciary, parliament/senate, presidency and PM and all the CMs and provincial officials and politicians and all).

Even here in Canada, we do our best to avoid spending unnecessary money and save where its possible. for example, Doctor appointments are Virtual appointments and the pharmacy delivers the meds! That moneys saved in gas when no need to go to the doctors office for some ailments or consultations.
