So the conspiracy theories can now rest. Yes, an agreement was reached. The timing of it is perfect. Along with BRICS+ summit.
Incorrect.India was the one begging for de-escalation for years and now suddenly we are the desperate one? Lolol. Bhai, wake up, China had been wanting to resolve the border for years but India owing to the trauma from 1962 refused.
Well, you do know that the Tibetans (around the 10th century - saying from memory, so may be a century wrong!) may have controlled some parts of northern India, south of the Sikkim-Bhutan region.Relations with India and Tibet were quite good so much so that they did not have a clearly demarcated border and had no issues even before the British arrived

So, refusal by the government of PRC to confirm specifics of decisions taken. It seems the information is released in full only by Indian sources, and has no Chinese corroboration.Other media outlets are prone to misrepresenting or incorrectly delaying the news as they disseminate and analyze it. Please refer to the content of the official statement.
The original official statement of the Chinese government on this news:
Reuters: The Indian Foreign Minister said yesterday that India and China have reached a deal on patrolling along the disputed border in the Himalayas. He said it can lead to disengagement and resolution of a conflict that began in 2020. Could we confirm with the Ministry that such an agreement was achieved? And are there other details? My second question related to this is, does the agreement open the path to a bilateral meeting between President Xi Jinping and Prime Minister Narendra Modi at the BRICS Summit happening now?Lin Jian: Over a recent period of time, China and India have reached resolutions on issues concerning the border area following close communication through diplomatic and military channels. China commends the progress made and will continue working with India for the sound implementation of these resolutions. On the bilateral meeting you mentioned, I answered the question yesterday. China will release timely information if anything comes up.PTI: Now that you have confirmed the Indian Foreign Secretary’s announcement yesterday about the agreement reached to end the standoff there. And you also said China speaks highly about this particular agreement. Can you please provide some details? How the two countries came to reach an agreement? Has that agreement been completed? Is it ready to put it into implementation?Lin Jian: As I just said, China and India have reached resolutions on issues concerning the border area following close communication through diplomatic and military channels. China will continue working with India for the sound implementation of these resolutions.

Your interpretation is wrong. The Chinese government usually does not publicize specific details of interim agreements or non-major agreements in its official documents. This is a consistent practice. Only in the case of formal agreements of particular significance does the Chinese government publicize the content of the agreement in its entirety. This border settlement between China and India does not fall within the scope of agreements that need to be fully publicized. So, refusal by the government of PRC to confirm specifics of decisions taken. It seems the information is released in full only by Indian sources, and has no Chinese corroboration.
Generally the side that's loud and giving out more details would have gained more than the side that's keeping things under wrap
I don’t understand why China, with its massive military-industrial complex, seems so cautious when dealing with India. India appears bold and aggressive, while China seems hesitant in every India-China conflict. I can understand Pakistan’s fear of India, as Pakistan is a weak country, but China’s behavior towards India surprises me.What has happened is that PLA has realised the Futility of their Massive Deployment
This No war No peace situation and Face to face Deployment is pointless
We also made a mirror Deployment effectively blocking their path
We were not complaining because we are there to defend our territory
Once the Aggressor realises that He has hit a wall and is gaining nothing on the ground , then naturally they will Dis Engage and De induct
