Since it's clear that Hasina loves India and Mamta loves Bengali Speaking Muslims

Before our Bangladeshi Friends start ranting and go all gung ho about medical tourism in SEA and China just remember

1. China and SEA are about 3 to 5 times richer than both of our countries and their medical tourism industry caters to first world and 2nd world countries not us poor 3rd world folks

2. Yes their medical facilities are better (infact way better) than India but they will cost you an arm and a leg.
A simple knee replacement surgery costs 3000 dollars in India but 9000 dollars in China and this is on the low end

3. SEA countries are cheaper than China but not cheap enough for your average bangladeshi to be able to afford it.

For what it's worth Indian Hospitals provide good enough service at a cheap enough price that most people can afford it, So yeah good luck to you folks, this will not be pleasant at all

Even if we assume that BDeshi will have to spend only 1000$ extra in some other country. Reducing 2.3 million medical visas into 350K means 2B dollars of forex outflow from BD.
2B$ is ther best case , 4B$ more realistic.

It's not like they rain dollar bills here. it's their bottom strata going after cheap options. Losing a couple of B$ for national security is no biggy.

why should India even give them more than 100 per day by the way they behave and abuse India and Indian state and diplomats and Indian PM ??

Bangladesh medical industry is not that advanced and it cannot develop overnight..... there is a reason they travel to India for such things...... heart transplant and other critical surgeries in Bangladesh are not at all comparable to India.....

SEA countries and China are far costlier when it comes to hospitals , they can be mostly affordable for citizens of the first world countries.....not to mention in these countries poor middle class Bangladesh citizens will have to travel by air mostly which is an additional cost.....


In India they can travel by road in bus or train and medical services are very cheap which is suitable for patients of the third world like India, Pakistan and Bangladesh.... just think before typing something nonsense.....

I say issue zero visas even for medical visa bangladeshi muslims go for cheapest govt run hospitals, over crowding the infrastructure, spend nights inside hospital parks etc even locals are pretty much irritated from them I dont get whats the points? Only persecuted minority should be allowed visa rest all ban

It works both ways.
BDeshi goes to somewhere else more expensive, means less money in their pocket to fund zakat for Tablighi/Jamati radicals.

It is not non sense, you think like i suggested that they do that overnight, that is real non sense and stupid thing to suggest.
What day need to do is to find foreign partner to open some clinics locally, turks for example are the best in the world for medical tourism and train their local stuff gradually, hardware is available in China. Whole project would cost same or less then the cost of money they spent annually abroad. If they do it smartly they can even reverse flow of health tourism and provide superior service then indians.
Now think twice with what kind of stupid remark you will reply.
