One -Poland trying to lecture us on an issue they have no locus standi. Shedding crocodile tears would be the right word to describe their false concern.

What is this issue you don't even say. Poland is very much invested in Russian adventures, arguably the major European nation that is concerned.

You should at least respect that perspective from Poland, they're allowed to have their own threat assessment and I don't think they did this from the perspective of European preaching, but a genuine concern they have, this is where the sense of proportion is all wrong, say this to trump or the EU or the UK.

Second - Indian import of Russian oil being labelled as funding the war.

It is and it isn't, from a Western perspective they are trying to strangulate the Russian economy as much as possible and this has to be one of the major avenues they can influence, so I would agree India is hardly to blame that much, but at this point with reducing levers it is now more important.

Poland is a part of NATO and has same imperatives as all other EU countries. They have an issue in their backyard due to their own mishandling and not an Indian doing. There is no reason for anyone to demand India to pay the price for their own failures.

India wants to buy oil and energy for its economy. Why should India pay for the failures of the West in creating a crisis.

Even if we assume that Pols had a genuine concern, then they should have conveyed in a diplomatic manner and not announce it on TV.

India has shown that Pols tried to punch way beyond their weight class. Next time they would be a little more discreet in trying to play Trump with no inherent power to be able to do that.

And I love Jaishankar for showing them their place. If they really have any power, they can retaliate. But, you and I know that no such thing is likely to happen.

You are going into the ridiculous loop, how do you not easily accept that Poland has a bitter historical rivalry with Russia and did you forget communism

As if asking nicely means India stops, Russia has been strangulated economically and the Indian support is one of the major inflow's Russia has, to that extent the polish motivis clear


What you are comically getting excited about is chastising a nation which really has no history of moralizing, it's like going to your mechanic because you are not happy with a laptop you've purchased.

If that is your intention the place to have done it is against the EU or America
