PAF combined AESA/PL-15 force is around 30 Block3s and 25 J-10Cs. That is 55 odd planes.. At 75% availability, gives us around 40 planes.

I am proposing the number to be fixed at 12 jets from IAF till end of August, with an option to make it 15 jets by September 7, 2025.

For Trump, he can take a growth rate of 10% per month on the number.

The only problem for IAF is that at this rate from Trump, they may be left with no jets, really scary situation

He first said '7 jets' lol and a single Rafale without the weapons, advanced upgrades (F4.1/4.2, F5 - India has F3R standard Rafales btw) and support is indeed worth around $130m-$160m, which is I think called the flyaway cost (?), prices per unit vary tho... one of the most expensive jets out there

for example, Greece bought 18 Rafales for $3.04bn back in 2021 so that's around ~$170m-$175m per unit (procurement cost, weapons/package included as per the article), flyaway cost was most likely around ~$145m-$160m, so there goes your Indian media theories
