India Lucky Not To Lose More Than Four Rafales

My assumption is 4 including one Rafale.
Interesting.

What are your assumptions based on as India has not officially declared a figure for losses.

Indian CDS said something like, "How many losses we suffered is not important, it's why they happened is more important."

in other words kitni dafa mari ye important nahn but kiyun mari ye important ha

The response of Pakistani generals was poor. This is a fact

The fact that Fatah rockets were fired 72 hours after Indian attack itself is a testimony to that. And even those rockets were used in very limited numbers and were only fired after indian fired brahmos on Pakistani airbases. This was a poor response and there is no other way to explain this

While majority of people have come to realise that Army leadership was found out, people by enlarge are avoiding asking the question is to why is it so.

Could it be:

a) Compromised generals.
b) Political generals.
c) Generals looking for acceptance among international establishment post Biden.
d) General's petty personal interests.
e) Generals not wanting to cause issues with India and keep on milking the WOT hence the deliberate heating up of eastern flanks.

I would say all of the above.

weak/compromised society cannot produce strong leaders!

people are culprit as well!

no body willing to take responsibility.

i have hardly seen any body doing extra work beyond their responsibilities..

leaving aside, accomplishing more than what is required is a smaller problem, when one realizes, no one even cares to do their job properly..

no average Pak. wants to achieve more, all want to perform 5 times prayers for sub par performance and flattery!

At one time, I asked my team mate (assistant) to improve on the excel performance, as, functions used gave the impression of some one doing a 'novice' job..

his replied was, I am a nephew of General Manager, how dare you ask me to do that!

kudos to Pak. society!

While I understand your grievances, the issues you raised here might not be relevant on this occasion. PAF comes from the same society. Then why their response and taking India to cleaners is in stark difference to the ones who occupy the GHQ? When politics entrench armed forces or one branch of it, then you see all these issues. Because at the end of the day, politics is all about compromises, mostly for petty personal interests. And this is exactly what happened.

We're sorry Pakistan Army did not fire nuclear tipped long range ballistic missiles all over India in response to Indian attacks on Masaajid in Pakistan.

We're also sorry that hundreds of millions of people did not die during this conflict on both sides of the border.

We'll do better next time so you get a spectacular view of the conflict live streamed to you in the UK while you enjoy some pizza and popcorns.

Err…. Or maybe, just maybe the elephant in the room? Pakistan was / is in no condition to face a major / prolonged war so hoped that downing of those 6 odd top IAF jets was enough to be a ‘response’. But Indians were so humiliated by the same that they couldn’t let it go so kept prodding and provoking until Pakistan was forced to respond, but still in very measured way due to the same elephant.

sir, kindly refer to the post#1257

can you give me your opinion?
Do you have the link to the presser you mentioned, bro. I want to review that

What you suggest is plausible. I mean Indian Government and the military was in shell shock on the 8th and the 9th May. Why did India attack on 10 May? Why did it need to do? I guess they were desperate to come out of that shell shock.

After the conflict the way their Generals and others went abroad to admit losses rather than mention it in India also proves they were really scared and shocked what had happened.

Honestly, this "60-0" was a stupid statement to make. I don't understand who wrote this speech and told him this was clever.

If there is a need to threaten Delhi, and I certainly think there is since their national psyche seems to be centred on media circuses, bluster and bravado, why not threaten them at least semi-realistically so they sit up and take notice? E.g. "we will blow up your terrorist infrastructure, including but not limited to, your dams".

also note something the playtime was as claimed by AVM Aurangzaib is atleast an hour.

if we are to go by the narrative that missiles were fired as soon as SCALP ER or SOW were launched then kills would have happened in next 3-5min IAF would have retreated then what was PAF doing for one-hour? just flew ironing the sky i dont think so.

i am sure that PL-15E were fired in quantity at least. because there no way PAF knew that Rafale F4 were not armed with Meteor BVR AAMs.

2ndly POTUS saying 7 or more Indians have not disclosed the number yet. Say whatever you want POTUS has enough resources that his statement carries weight and absence of Indian Denial is a glaring factor. he was discussing the price 150m per plane. certainly, he was briefed on this.

it is not stupid statement; he basically told you we had 60 contracts on the night of 7th May 25. it was PAF AM who instructed to shower PL15E on 14 Rafale aka "Centre of Gravity". if you see the 1st Press Brief AVM Aurangzeb clearly pointed out that 60 aircraft packages airborne and other 12 aircraft scrambles as the time progressed.

Also i am of opinion 1 x MIG-29UPG & 1 x IAI HERON TP were shot down by HQ-9B
