Thanks to the CCP, India has successfully designed, developed, and tested a live Agni V with a MIRV warhead, basically tailor-made for China. With the K-4 now active on our SSBNs, our nuclear deterrence is rock solid. Now, we're eagerly awaiting the K-5 and K-6 series SLBMs.

The only true copy cat is India, copying without any innovation by itself, US copied Britain and innovated its way to its present stage. As for Taiwan, Taiwan is part of China, there is no invasion, just an unfinished civil war, would you call US civil war an invasion?

I believe that India is making excellent progress in radars, electronics and missiles.

It also would have learnt a lot about airframes from licence-production of Su-30MKI and also its own Tejas.

In effect the biggest barrier for India right now is the engines but that has also been an archilles-heel of China as well.

The road will be long and hard but with a good plan and determined efforts, India has the brainpower and resources to overcome this.
