India Races Towards A 200-Ship Fleet By 2035 To Counter China And Pakistan

Pakistan's defence spending is less than 2% of GDP. Most of the GDP go into interest payment on loans. Pakistan's defence spending is much efficient than European counterparts such as Germany or UK.

And how much % of total annual budget ? Do add the pension section along with those $12 billion as well. Because military pension allocations are kept separate from defence budget. Tacky aapka or mera sun kay pait kharab na ho.

The only real solution is to declare LoC as international border completely and establish a demilitarized zone in Kashmir on both side of LoC with conditions that IWT is held and respected sincerely.

How can they counter China's long-range naval capabilities?
Actually, thats a very good question. How does India even counter massive Chinese fleet?

Answer is its island chains and long range anti ship missiles like LRAShM. Nicorbar Islands are perfect place for that. A 1500-2000KM range manuvering ballistic missile battery will deny China access to bay of bengal and arabian sea. Strong underground shelters can provide cover from any surface to surface missiles or air raids. They only need come out and fire anti-ship missiles. Basically same playbook China has with USA.

If China and India really go to a full scale war, the entirety of Indian Navy and Air Force will be gone in the first few hours of war. Thankfully China is not interested in going to war, they are more than happy to have a 100bn trade surplus with India (at least for now)

They have an overwhelming advantage on us for sure but they can't vapourise Indian military assets in just a few hours. Nobody can.

Growing trade relations is much better for both than any potential war or conflict. Chinese firms know India is the next big thing so they'd want to get more out of the market than what the border conflicts sabotage.

Sit down and pipe down. Spoken like a true fanboy who treats military strategy like an arcade game. You’re talking about a full scale war while having zero knowledge on basic high school geography and aerospace physics.

Look at the flight tracking maps of Tibet. Notice why it’s completely empty? The massive interior of Tibet sits way above the 4,500 mt altitude line making it a total dead zone for sustained air operations. China hasn't built airbases in that entire yellow zone because the laws of physics won't let them. The air density is so abysmal, the engine’s physical relight envelope is heavily compressed.

The interior plateau is a high altitude dust bowl. The fine alpine silicate dust ingested by advanced turbofans melts in the combustion chambers, forming a glass like glaze that chokes the microscopic cooling holes of the turbine blades. China cannot build complex engine-overhaul facilities in that empty desert. Within weeks of high-intensity flying, PLAAF engine lifespans and thrust efficiencies would tank dramatically. Air density dictates lift. In the thin, turbulent mountain waves over Tibet, a jet’s aerodynamic wing-stall threshold happens way sooner. If a Chinese pilot tries to pull hard to evade a missile, the thin air will stall their wings long before they can complete the turn. China can't build bases in that giant yellow zone, they are forced to crowd all their jets into a few highly predictable, tightly packed forward bases right on the border (like Lhasa and Xigaze). They aren't hiding anything. IAF knows exactly which runways to target with missiles/PGMs to bottle up their entire fleet. A single logistical interdiction in the central void severs the supply line for the entire southern air network simultaneously.

This is a day-dream. Look at Iran US war. How much of Iranian military has America been able to neutralize? Iranian airforce is still active. This entire "gone in few hours" is a mythology that those who do not understand war and combat believe in.

A well entrenched force is almost impossible to destroy without putting boots on ground and fighting to the bitter end.

Lastly, with hypersonic extremely maneuverable weapons like LRAShM, it is practically impossible to disable area and access denial. Because it does not require an airforce nor a navy.

It was asserted by the Indian media outlet, not the Chinese one.

Funny that you are putting your own words into other people's mouth.

so, will China supply Type 093B SSN or Type 052D Destroyers to Pakistan ? if yes, then is there any timeline discussed ?

LOl, you know why these so called chains never try to stop Chinese ships? cause they know if you do all these so called chains will be China's in a couple of days.
First take Taiwan which you are bragging for more than 5 decades and then brag about taking all the island chains in couple of days that are under American and allies control...

India has got a huge coastlines on all 3 sides of the southern peninsula and top of it we have over 500 plus islands in the form of Andaman and nicobar islands and Lakshadweep islands.... even 200 warships are not enough..... practically speaking we need atleast 400 and along with that we need very strong coastguard fleet.... but sadly our budget is too small to afford it....

China didn't take Hong kong untill 1997 and Macao 1999, only you fools want a piece of war torn waste land. Taiwan has more foreign reserves than you whole India and is one of the best tech center in the world, we want all of them intact like Hong kong and Macao.

Hong kong and Macau came to you as a part of treaty... there was absolutely no need to take it by force... what about Taiwan? They love independent Taiwan....

Such an easy target vulnerable to the attacks from all sides, no strategic rear, no wonder the land was being colonized by varies colonizers from everywhere for the most part of its history.

Do you know the treaty was originally stated cessation forever? Taiwan is part of China, its official name is repbulic of China, it's just an unfinished civil war. I have no problem for either PRC or ROC, whoever rules China is ok with me.
