How effective are these ?
I wonder if indian army uses these??
Regardless great news.

Is the geopolitical environment so hostile for Armenians? It is surprising that they can only buy weapons made in India.
Right now they can only rely on India as west won't supply them because of Israeli friendship with Azerbaijan..... Russians are now not at all trusted by Armenia due to its inaction during war with Azerbaijan.....

My assumption is China too won't supply weapons to Armenia considering Pakistan friendship with Azerbaijan....

Indian weapons may not be the best but India is known for her robust independent policies and will not succumb to anyone's pressure to keep supply chain active....

China supports Azerbaijan because it is an important node in the B&R programme. China needs Azerbaijan's Baku port. As for Armenia, it is not in B&R's plans.

And in Chinese style, China doesn't usually sell weapons to both sides of a war hotspot. Unless they have diplomatic relations with China at the level of Pakistan.

Considering Israel's influence in the West, Armenia should pull in Russia.

Baba Kalyani: Now our level of expertise in this area is extremely high, even on a global basis. So I think it's a very natural, position that you start looking at this, and you look at artillery gun. What is the main parts of an artillery gun? It's the gun barrel, the breech, the recoil system and the muzzle. Rest of it is just fabrication. Then there's the control system, which is a lot of electronics control system, etc. So we make our own barrels. And that's the most difficult part in an artillery is to make barrels. We make our own barrels. We have a huge capacity and two production lines. We make our own breech, we make our own recoil systems, and we make our own muzzle brakes. Now we make our own electronic control systems that go into this. We have a lot of sub supplies, who we work with, but they're all local. Now, if you don't make these things and you still say, you make artillery guns it's meaningless.

Where else can Armenia purchase its weapons? There are only 4 major weapons production block - NATO (mainly USA & France), Russia, China & India.

West is aligned with Azerbaijan. Russia can't supply Armenia as Turkey will be unhappy and Russia needs Turkey's support for containing Ukrainian menace. That leaves only 2 other suppliers - China & India.

Bro how will you bypass Armenia in B&R? Will it go thru Iran, Georgia or Russia ahead till Europe?

One route is from Tehran to Istanbul and the other is from Tehran to Russia via Baku.

Armenia is only relevant in connecting Azerbaijan gas pipelines to EU. Azerbaijan has borders with 4 countries - Georgia, Armenia, Iran & Russia, all 4 of which are either aligned with Russia or hostile to Azerbaijan or hostile to NATO. So, West is trying to help Azeris capture Armenian territory to connect the gas pipeline to Turkey.

But for China, Armenia can be bypassed by using Iranian land as Iran is not hostile to China

Who will supply them weapons?
Azerbaijan being the dominant party and resources rich one has the majority support. Israel support them for monetary reasons and Turkey due to culturally similarity to Azerbaijan. China doesn't have a horse in the race but it's partners support Azerbaijan so it passively supports the Azeris.
Russia always wanted a foothold in the region and used the Armenians as a pawn but post Ukrainian war their power and influence is dwindling in the region. The west chooses inactivity due to Israeli environment and Turkey being a NATO partner, Freanceis the only one who actively support Armenians.
India's major reason for supporting armenians is to sell it's military equipment and for ideological reasons (Pakistan and Turkey).

There is another bloc in the form of South Korea and Japan but again they are controlled by Americans so risky to deal and I guess their weapons are way too costly even more costlier than European ones..... Armenia won't be able to afford.....

Japan & Korea mostly assemble USA made weapons for the critical parts. They are USA vassals and are not allowed to develop full fledged military technology
