Those days, RE was a very small company. Making and selling just 25,000 bikes a year. All hand built, hand gold pin stripe painted. These bikes in the photo were all export variants. Mainly for UK and the EU. Mainly better electricals and tyres.

Now of course RE has exploded, with a worldwide footprint of a global brand.

I went, bhot saal pehle, interesting place.. ITO ke paas hai shayad.. very interesting place, and zabardast momos and beer rooftops pe chotte chotte tibetan dhabas pe.. mast scene.
