Pastor put Arnab in his place, hilarious.

The reality is that the Americans always held this card against India

Just like they knew they could psychologically manipulate India via Pakistan
US and Indian relations weren’t at this level just 2 decades back. The change happened Jaswant Singh was our EAM under Vajpayee.
Till then Delhi used to be against US and had taken many principled positions that didn’t allow relations to prosper. There is historical background to that and 1971 was one of the big ones.
It was under Jaswant that India decided to manoeuvre the Indian policies so as to make them dynamic to weigh in what is good for us ans what is not.
Multiple US administrations and Presidents too worked to make it deeper. India ended up buying more military equipment from US than any non-NATO ally.

Were these steps taken by blindsiding the other side? NO.
Both sides moved forward after weighing in all the angles.

But, few kids here are trying to infer that India blindsided the US. Indo-Russian relations were always known very well to everyone.

Whatever, India does is in the open domain. It has clearly stated the reasons for what it does with nations.

India bought Russian oil. At that time the Europeans were buying more energy from Russia than anyone else, but they were pointing fingers at others. India openly showed the mirror to them and they backed off. Gradually they have moved away but not yet completely.

do you really want to be seen as really taking trump on?
Modi is no Imran Khan who announces his US policies on media by making bombastic statements. Much more happens behind the limelight.
That is what India is doing. It has drawn the red lines that it wouldn’t cross. Russian friendship appears to one of those.
If that means taking on Trump then it is for Trump to decide.

Which Indian general signed the instrument of surrender like General Niazi had ?

I didn't realise that something that happened 54 years ago justifies india losing militarily to Pakistan in May 2025 despite india being more than 7× bigger than Pakistan and having the FULL BACKING of the west, america, israel and russia........... :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO:

In 1971, Pakistan was dismembered and 90,000 Pakistani POWs were captured after the commander of the Pakistani army in the eastern sector formally surrendered. That is what a defeat means.

1) What has this got to do with the thread? The burn must be hard....
2) 30,000 troops, rest were civilians
3) India totally surrounded East Pak and heavily outnumbered the Pak forces and had support or rebels yet still took months for Pak to surrender

My friend, your cope is hard, your lack of history even worse....

:LOL::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::LOL:

That's some seriously funny $hit. Send me whatever your smoking

The world holds her breath in anticipation as world's largest democracy try and extract fair trade from the world's most powerful democracy.

The American imperialism meets Indian resistance in Asia.

The desperation is next level bro

I rate them if they stand by Russia through all this.

we may or may not. What world are you living in man?

- Russia tried to influence Donald - he played for their side for a long time until very recently

- Dnald was ready to throw Ukraine under the bus for minerals

- India bought russian oil but their weapons still reach China

There is a range of play here. India bought oil within that range. It is russia's job not to make the fallout so big that we can't manage it. If it reaches that level, we will stop buying oil. Else will continue.

They gave you stuff that no one else would have, you can start with your knowledge of nuke submarines, stuck by you in 71 and so forth. That's facts, the world I live in. Yes some weapons made their way to China but you haven't fought a single war with China in your modern history, all that stuff you have is for Pakistan. Now the Chinese military complex dwarfs Russia.
If you choose to cut them loose, then no one will respect you.

well we stuck with them till now despite a 200 billion trade with the US. That's not a small thing.

The fact that India has openly decided to continue its relationship with Russia is hurting many people badly.

Some of these clowns were declaring that Trump dictates things to India. And now this statement by India? WTH?

The burn is real and the pain is even bigger.

Keep dreaming man. You think too much of yourself.

Off topic remarks are an Indian speciality.
