India - US Tariff and Relations | News + Updates

@r3alist bro,

Be honest. Don't you think all the three- Our Priest King ModiGee, Putler and Comrade Eleven- are looking hot and dapper in this pic?

@r3alist bro,

Ha, ha, our old and evergreen topic!

Regards
I was never invested in the topic in the way you think I was

I was just simply saying it's a thing beyond this forum

I am stubbornly theoretical in that way, I maintained at the time that the axiom was true, that there is a groundswell to use this as leverage

Note this happened during the biden era, in fact a lot of tension points developed in the biden era, and we all know biden was barely alive so someone was pushing this

@r3alist bro,

Of course there is! There is a large resentment among middle class white Americans at H1B, outsourcing etc

Now the question will be, is the Indian workforce so systematically indispensable as you think?

Remember if you are insisting on non alignment, no one needs to really do you favours with development

Yet much of your own future economic growth is dependent on remaining relevant within Western technology

I'm hearing the next big economic idea is to export the Indian workforce to help dig up minerals in Siberia, since Russians are a bit short on men

@r3alist bro

Unfortunately, you are conflating two different things- geopolitics and economics like all your countrymen.

Indians aren't employed by US or European countries- they are employed by US and European companies. They are employed because they offer skills at a price point middle class white American/Europeans can't match.

Of course, these companies can reduce Indian headcount to retaliate against Indian non-alignment (for arguments sake). But then they will have to find the same skill set at the same price.

Yes I agreed with you before, but unfortunately like your countrymen, it seems like geopolitics is really not very well understood within India

Economics and geopolitics are never indefinitely two separate lanes, if required GEOPOLITICS will TRUMP economics

However, let's see on the cost debate, you might have a point there
