'India Will Develop With Or Without China's Help'

Are you referring to Pakistan here? Ah, wait, Pakistan might already be fully developed and now started giving loans to poor countries like India. Sorry for my ignorance.
Such a disappointing response to my serious and constructive post.

Nope, it wasn't. 80 years might sound like a lot of time but what you said is akin to me saying "why am i not a billionaire yet when i invested a hundred bucks some 80 years back, 80 YEARS!". Compounding won't make you rich just because 80 years have elapsed.

In 2023 we had an HDI of 0.685 so safe to say we've achieved high (0.700>) by now. If not for INR depreciation, we would've been an upper middle income economy in nominal terms. All the while starting from absolute rock bottom in 1947.

India might not become developed in its typical sense, but then neither has china achieved status of a developed country as per the "definition" of being one by various global bodies like World Bank.

We should acknowledge India's efforts in setting long-term goals and consistently working toward them, even when progress has been incremental. While the country continues to face challenges and shortcomings, its commitment to development has produced tangible results in several areas. There are important lessons that neighboring countries, including Pakistan, can draw from this experience. Pakistan has considerable potential and could make comparable strides if it strengthens governance, institutional effectiveness, and internal stability.

I'm not comparing India to China, right now the gap is way too much. Our goal is to converge as much as we can.

Yeah @/BeijingWalker agrees.

Pakistan is not crying club superpower, shipbuilding hub of the world, chip hub, space superpower club etc. They know how to be humble something you indians obviously never learnt
“Pakistanis are humble”? Have you heard of the claims made by Pakistanis? Their military-industrial complex is supposedly superior to India’s, their military is supposedly stronger than India’s, one Muslim is allegedly equal to ten non-Muslims, Pakistan supposedly won every war against India, Pakistanis are a “martial race,” Pakistan supposedly defeated the USSR in Afghanistan, and Pakistan is supposedly the leader of the Muslim world and an “Islamic superpower.” And that’s just the beginning—there are plenty of other bizarre and hilarious claims.

It seems Xi Jinping might be coming to Delhi with a big business team. Lets see if that happens.

There is a difference between what someone on the forum says and what the news media and prime minister says. What Modi says and what a Pakistani forum user says is not comparable. Are you saying Modi has the legitimacy of a forum user now days?

Again, even then there are enough delusional claims made by their media and prime minister quite often. But thing is, which country's media doesn't? Yesterday I was seeing Russian state TV saying they're gonna detonate megatonne class nuke to cause a mega-tsunami on UK or some shit. Just because of language barrier and firewall is your izzat preserved otherwise we've seen enough chinese grifters on the internet posting videos of taking Japan and Taiwan simultaneously. Or entire CGI movies of steamrolling India and US military simultaneously in some world war.
