Indian Air Force News and Discussions ll

Tejas mark 1a is going to continue it will not be cancelled...Hal will churn these out at snails pace as per history .

The Rafale deal is happening despite Pakistan preying it gets pulled on ToT....issues ...This plane will become the most numerous over next decade abd half...As some early su30mki are phased out post 2035

The Tejas two maybe cancelled my gut instinct it's to similar to Rafales and too far delayed there will only be five prototypes...

Amca will arrive via private players and Dassult support this will be the biggest focus going forward beyond Rafales

Beyond 2040 Fcas will be the sixth generation fighters in India not Amca as Defense minster said we need sixth generation quickly and we need partnerships

Despite Russian backed hype no Su57 in current situation
USA caatsa threat
Ukraine war
Su57 not suitable for stealth role envisaged by India

It's a mess tbh but a national effort will be made to build some sort of credible air force befitting a nation the size of india

Perhaps the Indian Air Force could setup a wedding planning business or something.

They seem to be rather good at plans, just not so much executing them.

Given what it did to PAF on 10th May whereas PAF could not do anything in return on 10th May, shows it is PAF that needs to setup wedding planning business.
Only in India is runway damage a victory.

Everywhere else, its a planned for eventuality.

Perhaps IAF pilots would be better suited to wedding planning, considering flying has never been their forte.

They have a strange affinity for the ground, their jets too!

Pakistan is posting several footages from the Afghanistan to showcase its successful attacks.

Similarly, during Operation Sindoor, Pakistan claimed it destroyed 26 Indian military bases, including airbases.

Till now:
No drone clip.
No satellite proof.
No battlefield visuals.

You cannot destroy 26 bases and have zero evidence

If it really happened, where is the footage?

Nice cope, but Afghanistan is being bombed with LGB's, not at standoff ranges, hence the TGP footage moron

IAF did what all it was tasked to. That's what matters to us. If others think they won, good for them. As far as wedding planning and all go, we don't need a Shaheen foundation, we have a good enough corporate sector.
I have been sarcastic my whole life; his sarcasm went down like Tejas at the Dubai Air Show.
You mean like the loyal IMF customer's bank balance?

Proof: "I need not to show anything they were saying it themselves"

Or the status of your crappy Air Farce.....

We can still fix IAF, and get decent economic returns with assembly lines localising stuff in India, instead of importing a few toys toys worth billions @4.15% interest while also knocking IMF's door for khairaat...

Lets leave Pakistani economics aside, desperate as you are to steer the conversation away from the clown show that is the IAF.

India has had 20 years and perhaps hundreds of evaluations and opportunities to get an assembly line localising stuff. It has not achieved this.

In very very clear terms, that even you can possibly understand. Right now, with no signed Rafale deal, no signed SU-30MKI upgrade and the absolute shit show that is Tejas, IAF face entire block obsolesence of its entire fight fleet bar 1.5 Rafale Sqds.

I would go far as to suggest even the SU-30MKI fleet right now is actually simply not fit for purpose, especially what happened at Gauruda 2025 and more recently Vayu Shakti and of course 2019 "AMRAAM Dodgers".

Bro....need to capture the actual crashing and make a sticker-meme short video so we can paste it everywhere.

Tejas going down in flames in front of the world, nothing can beat that........

What hasn't been achieved? Su-30 MKI and it's engine are already majority made here, and the upgrade programme is only going to increase the share. Same has been the case with almost every platform flown by IAF.

Point is, IAF can throw money at least to fix short to medium term deficiencies resulted by poor planning, all the while not asking IMF or any gulf Shaikh for loans or deposits.

Vayu Shakti is an exercise, and I'm sure mistakes are better made during exercises than in real ops.

The current mess up is the result of delays in Indian projects, which will result in short term pain but long term gain.
