They walked away from the "stealthy Flanker" because it wasn't stealthy enough, and not enough tech transfer from their best buddies. The Russians are now desperate for cash, so developed the twin seater they wanted. This'll be the su30 all over again, obsolete by they time it rolls off their production line.

If the Indians had any sense, they would take the airframe, engines, FBW, ie the core platform etc but make sure the entire avionics and electronics suites, and munitions, datalink, ie everything is 100% Indian. i.e. not waste time arguing over workshare of those items. They have enough experience and intellectual property from their Darin projects, Tejas and R&D into AMCA to do that now ( I know we laugh about Indian Software engineering capabilities, but there some very capable people in India that they can use. ).

Lets see how much sense they have.

Not sure what type of copium they're on by they themselves admit at least 5 aircraft lost, it's only the indians obsessed with trying to prove something on here who are too shameless to admit it.

You gave an example of US admitting to its losses from the recent Iran-US war. But here you guys are big supporters of Iran. So has Iran disclosed what it has lost during the war?

Has Russia or Ukraine disclosed how many men or equipment have they lost during last 4 years?

Not really. When PAF shot down a MIG-21 we had no losses (India claimed a F-16 with no evidence)

Issue India has is this. IAF has not even specified what type and numbers lost of PAF fighters. There is no official IAF claims, just a speech IAF chief gave about vague PAF losses. So the main issue here is that IAF is not officially claiming any PAF types downed. No times, no locations, no serial numbers, no types.

PAF has on the other hand listed types, locations, serial numbers and exact times of it's IAF kills.

So here is the thing, why does the IAF not give a serial number or specific type and challenge the PAF.

Pak defence minister is ON THE RECORD as saying he is happy to line up the PAF fleet to count if IAF want to do the same. No reply from IAF.

What makes you think it was the pilots having to see the bort numbers? You obviously have no clue about how intelligence works, E/SIGNIT, human, or otherwise.

We could see exactly what your IAF was doing, knew exactly timing and were prepared for it. You can't surprise us. The bort numbers were provided by the PAF after they shot down your aircraft through intelligence gathering using multiple means, E/SIGNIT being just one. They wouldn't release the bort numbers untill they were corroborated by other means. But I don't expect someone who's fe Bollywood cow dung to understand that.
