India has successfully tested the Bhargavastra missile, an air defense system designed to combat drones, developed by Economic Explosives Ltd. During the tests, the missiles hit air targets at a distance of 2.5 kilometers and at an altitude of 400 meters. It is reported that the maximum altitude of target destruction can reach five kilometers, while the target's RCS is 0.01. The radar of this air defense, which is resistant to electronic warfare, can detect large and medium drones at a distance of up to 10 kilometers, small drones are detected at a distance of up to 6 kilometers. The Bhargavastra air defense consists of a control center and a radar, launchers with 64 missiles, can be placed on mobile platforms for rapid deployment.

The Ministry of Defence (MoD) has been able to indigenise production of 154 out of 175 ammunition variants, which works out to 88 per cent, required by the Indian Army.

I'm not sure if it's the right place to ask this doubt, if so, I'm sorry. I saw this helmet on YouTube in one of the Indian shows on the army base in URI; they said it was the latest helmet, and it weighs upwards of 3 kgs without any attachments. I found it insane, Is it bad engineering or cost you need to pay for protection? the YouTube link:

This is really a great news....
Without these beasts kargil war was not possible to win....
Rajeev gandhi took all criticism for the purchase of these boforse guns but when the time came they proved what tye worth they were...... hitting all enemy positions on such a hight with pin point accuracy..... love these boforse..... enemy was feared and was praying for life on the top of the mountain while these guns were roasting the mountain tops....
