I agree the need of additional protection layers but then why it wasn't properly submitted by them to DRDO in the beginning itself when this light tank was being considered and was getting designed?

Our army and airforce have this unacceptable habit of delaying each and every project by coming up with last minute demands....

Light Tank as a product makes no sense. An IFV can do the same job.

Bro if that is the case then why China is fielding type 15s in large numbers near our border? IFV won't survive against those type 15s....
