Always pleasure listening to Trump getting historical facts right.

I feel China will abstain from any kinetic actions, but will support us openly in all fields to pressurise India. Pakistan, China, and BD all want the indian pie and are strategic partners. Maybe the time has now come to claim our lands!
China will limit itself to logistics and ISR support in case of India Pak conflict in my opinion but that would be more than enough. The conventional mismatch between India and Pakistan isn't that big as many Indians would like to believe.

He understand the people of Indus are distinct from the gangus. This is a 4000 year battle.

And as I said earlier, he is desperate for the markets to recover. He is no mood for another war.

Neither here nor there

Thousand year's.... doesn't sound like a big deal to him then

Trump pulled the 'thousand years' out of his a$$.
Never trust a word Trump says. He changes his positions constantly.
However, what it does signal is that by not openly siding with India as of now, there must be some thing the Americans want from Pakistan and/or India before some side is taken. As far as Pakistan is concerned: Pakistan had stopped American supplies to Afghanistan in 2011 for months until an apology came. And yet the lazy PDF thinkers, generally aligned with a certain political party in Pakistan, call Pakistan and its military some American stooges.
This is a 'defense' forum, right? This is not about grocery prices or real estate market. So why can't people bring some 'history' into their perspective to form 'informed' opinions about geopolitics? Why the politically motivated laziness??

President Trump is well versed in Adam Smith's "The Wealth of Nations'! He's after the 21st century wealth: minerals of all sorts. Therefore, he needs Pakistan....

I think things will just simmer down. If India wanted to take any military action, it would have by now. It's too late. Seems like IWT is the response. Let's see how it pans out in the end. Will be interesting if there's investment in infra down the road.

Indian government is too risk averse it seems.

certainly fun to read Pakistanis desperately trying to come up with things Trump wants from Pakistan ....If you guys so desperate to get on his good books just do this: send your troops into Afghanistan and retreive all the gear that USA left there. And send it all back to USA. Trump has been wanting those and he will be thrilled.

The Hindutva is on some real good stuff. Suddenly Afghanistan is the new topic.
