Seriously, rather than be under India's constant blackmail over water, unlike in Operation Gibraltor 1965, there is no better time for Pakistan to go for the Indian Occupied Kashmir than now with India just provided a causus belli. In 1965, the Pakistani economy was much stronger so the economic hit would be more to Pakistan then but the situation is reversed now--India risks pushed back decades in case of war. China is much stronger and stupid Modi has badly antagonized China. India joining alliances like the QUAD have been noticed by China. Indian and Chinese soldiers shedding blood along the border in recent years was too much to ignore. Chinese sitting on top of Laddakh, ready to pounce is a big factor. Indians needlessly removing the Articles 370 and 35A and claiming Aksai Chin. India has alienated Kashmiris even more. Pakistan has a larger population of potential fighters and they are much more armed then they were in 1965 and untold millions of them would march to the LOC given the go-ahead.

Heh, The idea of holding and occupying land is not feasible or appropriate these days, or ethical

Even Russia does not want all of Ukraine, too much effort to hold it

And everyone would literally gang up on Pakistan

What most of indians are not understanding here is the fact that Pakistan has less diameter to cover when it comes to combat with India in any form. The Land radius of Pakistan is way smaller than India hence less to defend. Therefore, any aircraft like J-10, JF17 or F-16 give Pakistan an edge on India as it can move inside within 2 mins of flight hence any air to air combat or air to ground combat will be on Indian ground irrespective of the outcome. Therefore, in any combat India has to suffer collateral damage. On other side, India has to move aircraft from one side of the country to other i.e. India has only 2 airbases in IOK Kashmir and 4 bases on International border. Given the time, tactile effectiveness and medium size range, Pakistan benefits overall. That is irrespective of any technical capabilities Rafael or any other aircraft India has at the moment.
