For China to intervene we have to first completely cancel Shimla agreement, which means Kashmir is once again become a international issue rather than a bilateral one, now if India does indeed entered AJK, Pakistan can halt or push back with their own operations to enter IOK, and if Pakistan capture some part or villages within IOK (which wont be a piece of cake) but we can then claim that new line as LOC, and China can enter the scene, but India will definitely not limit the war as opening multiple front and streching the PA troops all along the border suits them, we have smaller numbers but better trained troops so in a limited scale we can not only hold their attacks but push them back even mount our own counter offensive, but if the full scale war broke out from Run of Katch to Gilgit than we need to move out a lot of troops , even civilians such as tribals, FC, rangers and Gilgit scouts will join in as second line of defense.
