Dawn of New Ground Reality in South AsiaAnother reality is that India has used every single opportunity to harm Pakistan since 1947. Despite all out Indian efforts to turn Pakistan into a failed state and other existential challenges, Pakistan has been able to function as an independent state. That certainly caused deep disappointment to Indian Hindus who were of the view that the state of Pakistan will not be able or allowed to exist beyond a short life span. Indians then started using terrorism against Pakistan as their state policy and a tool to achieve their strategic goals both within and out of India. For example, many Indians (including Modi, their current and former ministers, and retired military officials) publicly take a pride for creating the infamous Mukti Bahini, a terrorist organization that killed countless number of non-Bangali Pakistanis in the former East Pakistan) and providing it with training, weapons, logistics, and other resources for breaking Pakistan and creating Bangladesh. After the success of that operation, Indian RAW then started creating and supporting terrorist groups in Pakistani Balochistan and KPK provinces while using Iran and Afghanistan as the terrorists launching and controlling pad. These terrorist groups have attacked markets and hotels, train and bus stations, schools and offices, playgrounds, and even mosques to kill tens of thousands of innocent Pakistanis. Indian ministers and officials have publicly and proudly admitted of using terrorism to bleed Pakistan. Some RAW-related Twitter/X accounts used to even pre-announce some big terrorist attacks in Pakistan. Pakistan has caught several Indian terrorist masterminds in Pakistan, such as a serving Indian naval commander Kulbhushan Yadev, and recently an assistant director, Ashok Chikarvadi, while operating whole terrorist networks in Pakistan. Recently Canda and the US have caught terrorist Indian officials red-handed while they were running/using criminal gangs for killing Sikhs leaders.
Despite India continuously and consistently using terrorism as a state policy and tool, Indians are able to successfully set just an opposite narrative, i.e., India being a victim of Pakistani cross-border terrorism. World powers have largely closed their eyes on Indian state-sponsored terrorism for other reasons such as economic interests. One glaring but shameful example of an inhuman, selfish, hypocrite act would be Clinton’s 2000 India visit when Indian agencies killed 36 innocent Sikhs in Indian occupied J&K on the eve of this visit and labeled it as a cross-border terrorist attack by Pak supported terrorists of Lashkar Tayybah. Indians tried to dissuade Clinton from his Pakistan visit of only a few hours. Despite Clinton knowing that the terrorist attack was a handiwork of Indian agencies, he did not say even a single word against this heinous Indian state crime or confronted them for their evil act.
Every few years, Indian agencies carry out a false flag operation and then Indian government uses it for blackmailing the international community to take punitive steps against Pakistan. The recent attack in Pahalgam in Indian occupied J&K, being the latest one. Fed up with Indian blackmail, coercion, and rogue behavior regarding the international and biliteral agreements and treaties, Pakistan has changed its state policy drastically. Rather than being on the defensive while getting pressurized and blackmailed by world powers in the wake of Indian false flag operations, and facing Indian military build-up after every such incident, Pakistan has decided to take the challenge heads on. The announcement of new state policy after Yesterday’s meeting of National Security Committee sets a new course of action for the state of Pakistan.
Pakistan is a nuclear state with 250 million population and a large armed forces. We can take on the Indian rogue behavior, hammer where needed, and safeguard our national interests. The world community has miserably failed to get the promised right of self determination to the people of Indian occupied J&K. At any crisis between India and Pakistan, we are pressurized and coerced more than Indian not based on some principles or justice but rather because of other countries’ economic interests in India. Well, all is now a part of the past.
- If India tries to divert any water from the three rivers that are for Pakistan under the IWT, that will be considered as an act of war against the state of Pakistan. That means, we will not merely go to the WB just to complain. We will defend our lifeline with full might. Leaving the nukes on one side, Pakistan currently even give a bloody face to India in conventional war too. We are ready for even the worst. If Indians try to remove our lifeline, we will remove their breathing.
- The new policy changes the whole scenario. Our bilateral disputes with India will be resolved on equal basis with strength and power rather than being a smaller country or weaker economy.
- Pakistan can cancel a bilateral Simla agreement that gives the legal cover to the current line of control (LoC) in the disputed J&K. After the agreement is cancelled, there will be no LOC. Kashmiri people and freedom fighters will be allowed to move freely from Pakistani side.
- In fact, there is a whole plethora of bilateral agreements that Pakistan can selectively cancel. Indian hegemony and use of terrorism to bleed us cannot be tolerated forever.
- Pakistan has put a ban on the Indian airlines’ flights over Pakistani airspace. This ban should continue until the Kashmir dispute is resolved in accordance with the wishes of the people of J&K.
- Being a party to the UN-recognized J&K dispute, Pakistan should announce to extend all kinds of assistance to the people of J&K in their freedom struggle. It cannot be deemed as cross-border terrorism. It is helping oppressed people’s fight for a UN-recognized and just cause of their right of self-determination.
- Pakistan has closed its borders with India, thus, stopping all trade going through the border posts. That should stay like that until the resolution of Kashmir dispute.
- If India does not stop actively supporting and using terrorist groups in Pakistan, it must have consequences for India.
- Pakistan will not get coerced during the current standoff. We did not initiate it. Modi did that. Sorry, there is no face saving for evil Modi and donkey Doval.
