Kargil episode was in reaction to Siachen glacier which India illegally occupied in 1984, now with Simla agreement suspended LOC is meaningless.

Thats just the point, the LOC was always meaningless, so whats new?

Pak has so far only suggested that in response to India's suspension of the IWT, it ' retains' the option to pull out of the Shimla accord.

It hasnt been suspended it yet, If it has, educate me with a link please

Alhamdulillah. Pakistan Navy has been investing heavily over the years and this development will only move forward. We have a lot of confidence and pride in the navy.

Operation Trident was a big lesson for the PN. After that,Pakistan knew they had to create a very good Navy,at least good enough to defend the coast and potentially give the Indians trouble near their shores.

Of course,that's just my humble opinion. Maybe the PN has bigger plans in case of a war.
