I Genuinely don't think even Modi wants any of it at this point either. He did not realize it would escalate so much both form his public and form Pakistan. his assessment probably was:

• Take actions like IWT and close the case and win the election, but his Hindutva public came out with pithforks wanting him to attack Pakistan militarily.
• At the same time Asim Munir gave him the statement that even if 1 Pakistani civilian dies Pakistan will not sit back and it will all be on Modi.

Pakistan seems to be in no mood to let India get away this time and there is no way India can actually avoid large enough damage in this situation to kill Modi's ambitions. I can totally picture all of those back to back meetings since last few days, where Modi and team were probably sitting around the table holding their heads in their hands wondering what they got themselves into. Whenever I look at Indian Channels I see the Congress Party most excited about Attacking Pakistan because they can see how it will play out and they probably actually want Modi's career to die at the hands of Pakistanis.

Indian army hasn't done any large scale deployment yet. So they aren't looking for full scale war. But India govt / media has created so much hype and blame game, they'd have to do some action for political objectives. I think India will use stand off weapon at some supposedly "terror camps". Will make up numbers like 200 terrorists killed in the strike. The supposed camps may not even exist or with nobody killed. Kind of repeat of failed Balakot strike.

You Tube algorithm sent me to this Arabic channel. It is discussing Turkey's role in the current tensions between India and Pakistan. I have watched the first 15 minutes of it--turn on English captions if you need to! (Caption button -> Settings button -> select Subtitles in the popup then find English language). Some take aways:
1) The analyst sees this as an Israel-India-America attempt to disrupt China's trade links via Pakistan to Turkey and Europe.
2) Modi is working on a larger agenda and has not provided any proof.
3) Pakistani military is very strong and there is possibility of Pakistan transferring nuclear knowhow/weapons to Turkey.
BTW, other Arabic language channels are also decisively pro Pakistan, at least from the user Comments.
