Yes, IWT restoration is the ultimate goal for Pakistan. And just might happen down the road but not right away. And I think those who are mediating have not only some immediate 'off ramp' in mind but also have Pakistan's long term concerns in mind as well. Pakistan is certainly conveying those concerns with dire threats in case of non compliance including blowing up dams in IoK.

Couldnt have said better myself. There is a clear trend from usual suspects who have agenda against IK and using this situation and this thread to spew their non sense. This whole idea of using this situation to get brownie points for those who have committed crimes against citizens of Pakistan is beyond absurd. I am not replying to those characters out of sensitive nature of this thread, but unfortunately, I dont see the mods not sussing these individuals out and their agenda. Dont have any politicians discussed here, fine (which btw is bizarre because its the politician who got mandate from citizens to declare war on enemy states and relative policies) , but do not allow this to become the PR for highly controversial figures as well who have assumed the role of state upon themselves.

This is about Pakistan and its stakeholders... its citizens.
