Pakistan's cross-border terrorism has plagued India for years, yet the Pahalgam attack once again highlights India's reactive, ad hoc response. Rather than keeping contingency plans ready to execute swift, surprise retaliation, Modi has convened endless meetings — giving Pakistan ample time to heighten military alertness and prepare countermeasures with newly received Chinese and Turkish weapons, including missiles and drones.
A real professional military would have had contingencies to strike quickly after being attacked it's not like this is the first time cht has flared up in Kashmir. Now PAF is on pretty much alert status and will likely be able to respond to Indian aircraft that could be used to strike parts of Kashmir which is I guess why India is talking about using only missiles.
That's always been the case since the Balakot strike.
Regarding missiles it will mean a greater counter barrage back.
